Milk the Fruit: Whimsillusion Project Volume 1 is now available…
Milk the Fruit: Whimsillusion Project Volume 1 is now available in paperback on Amazon. No e-book yet, and I’m not sure if there’s going to be one or not, but this is the first time I’ve had a story published professionally. This anthology includes short stories by five different authors, and all are based on a writing prompt. The seven items each author had to include in some form or fashion were: a character named Bruce, the name Sarafina, a cabin, a reptile, an egg, a fight, and the line, “Milk the fruit with care.”
I still don’t know what “Milk the fruit with care” means, but I managed to get it into the story, along with all the rest of the items. It was a fun project. I’ve always enjoyed writing stories based on writing prompts, so when I found this project, I started brainstorming right away.
Anyway, that’s it. Check it out if you’re interested. 🙂

Finally able to type half-way decently again, and a new story idea…
My writing has been on hold for a long time now due to having severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. After two surgeries and a long recovery process, I’m still lacking some feeling in my fingers, but at least my fingers are functional enough to type now without having to constantly correct typos. Unfortunately, after taking such a long break from writing, I was having severe issues with coming up with a new story that actually grabbed me. I started writing a couple of things, but I just wasn’t feeling them. I know when I’ve got a good story when I start writing and the story just flows out of me naturally. I don’t even really have to work at it. I just type and it comes out.
I started a new one the other day that’s kinda feeling that way so far. I’ve only done the first scene, and it’s going to take quite a bit of world building, but so far it’s feeling good. Anyway, we’ll see where it goes from here.
