Revenge update: I’m 58,312 words into the book so far and I just finished chapter 10. Six more chapters to go! As I said before, the beginning of the book is quite heavy, so after that whole part was over, I did lighten things up. There are also a lot of new revelations in this book about the blue fin people that are leading to what’s coming up in the future. Good stuff, and I’m really loving writing this series. I do think I need to take a break though after this fourth book. Pumping out a full length novel every three and a half weeks or so has really taken its toll on me mentally because of the lack of sleep. Not only do I need sleep, but I need to look into ways to promote the series.
Anyway, that’s what’s been going on. Lots of big changes in this book. Every book in the series has been a progression, not only in the depth and scope of the overall story, but also in the development of the characters themselves. I know these characters intimately, and the worst day ever is going to be the day I write the final word in the last book of the series. How many books will there be? I have no idea. I guess we’ll find that out when the time comes. I don’t see it ending anytime soon though. As long as there are unexplored dimensions and new adventures to be had, I’ll keep writing. 🙂
